Never transfer funds from your bank to your PayPal account! Just select your bank as the funding source for a purchase. The delays are due to the method of doing transfers: ACH and eChecks take time to clear. This is not PayPal's delay, but the banking system! Here is my pitch: do not keep money in your PayPal account--you risk losing it if you do this, and it is not a good financial move. Instead link a bank account (savings or checking) to your PayPal account and put your money in the bank, and choose that bank account as your funding source when you buy stuff. Do not transfer funds into your PayPal account! Simply select your bank or card as the funding source when buying. So, please, people: do NOT leave funds in a PayPal account! Do not use PayPal as a bank--PayPal is not a bank, and is not regulated as a bank, and can take/hold your money at their whim. Any funds in a PayPal account are at risk! Always clear out any funds in your PayPal account and transfer them to your bank account as soon as you can.

Am I in the F-ing twilight zone!? THERE IS NO WALLET. THERE IS NO CLICK TRANSFER MONEY. THERE IS NO CLICK TRANSFER TO YOUR BANK. THERES NOT EVEN A DANG BALANCE SECTION THAT I CAN CLEARLY SEE IT. Yet everywhere on Google is saying it exists. 10 minutes, and I'm already done with this app and PayPal. That has to be a new record for dumb design.

Thanks to a massive screwup on part of my bank (told them I'll be leaving next time), I'm now without a debit card for weeks, however I want to at least pay for the stuff I normally do with PayPal. It is linked with my bank account, however I don't know how to put money on my PayPal. Every article instead recommends one to use a card instead, for which I don't have access to at the moment, and likely won't have for weeks. Tried setting up a Revolut or something similar, but they were way too hard to set up with all the verification steps, and otherwise I (in theory) could get money transferred directly from my bank account to my PayPal.

When Paypal is linked to a bank account, the money gets withdrawn from the linked bank account. Make sure you have enough money in the bank account to cover the purchase.
