Hi,
I'm trying to connect to the HDMI matrix (AV Access Professional 4x2 4K@60Hz HDMI 2.0 Matrix Switch) using Prolific PL2303TA cable. Latest cable driver is installed correctly and is recognized by windows. I connect TTL pins directly into the matrix (it has RS232 terminal block): Green - Tx, White - Rx, Black - G.
I've tried Putty and Serial Debug Assistant, port is opened successfully, but no response is received. RS232 settings are correct as per official documentation https://www.avaccess.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/API-Command-Set_-4KMX42-H2A-V1.0.1.pdf
Any advice is very welcome
Upd: problemo solved, connecting a TTL into RS232 is no go
Hello, Iβm writing this post because I have looked everywhere and I sincerely donβt know where else to go but to ask you all who are well-versed in computational technology.
EXPOSITION β I have an old PC tower that belongs to my family and we want to see if there are any pictures/videos on it before we decide to finally retire it. It has been sitting in our guest room closet for YEARS and when I took a look at the back of the tower to connect it to my modern monitor, I found there was a male 9-pin VGA port instead of an HDMI/USB-C port.
In light of this, I tried looking online for a female 9-pin VGA to HDMI converter and alternatives to that as well. I found 15-pin VGA cables, HDMI-to-VGA converters, but nothing for my specific case. Iβve been searching for more than a week now and I think Iβm reaching the end of my wits here.
MY QUERY β Is there actually any way to convert a male 9-pin VGA signal to a male HDMI port to connect my old PC tower to my newer LG monitor? If it is possible, do you happen to know how to do that?
My family and I would immensely appreciate any help you can provide, thank you so much!
