I bought my shark robot on January 2021 on Amazon.I had to return it robot twice for different issues they had. The third one arrived and worked fine, but it didn't emptied everything in the dustbin since the beginning, I had to do it manually. From November of 2022 to May 2023, I was out of town because my mom was very sick, so the robot was used maybe 5 times by my husband. If you calculate that a year has 52 weeks plus the 4 months I used it last year, it´s 16 weeks. It gives a total of 68 times that the robot was used since I bought it, maybe I used it more, let´s say 100 times or 150 times at the most in 730 days (2 years) that means that the robot has been used a 20.54% these 2 years that has been with me. Two weeks ago, the robot started doing weird things, he stopped in the middle of the way saying that there was an obstacle in front of him "error number 2".After checking all the robot, cleaning every corner, it continued doing the same thing over and over again, so I called SHARK and in Customer Service they sent me a link so they could see the robot working, and they told me to do a lot of things to it, open here, open there, remove here, remove there, and the conclusion was: "THE ROBOT HAS TO BE REPLACED"...What will you think by that? That I send them my robot and they send me a new one,no? Or fix this one, well NOO! THAT MEANS THAT "I" HAVE TO BUY A NEW ROBOT, because Shark doesn't fix anyone of their products, they don't have a department to do that. I asked to talk with a Manager and it was worse, he told me that he was doing me a favor giving me the same robot with a 30% discount at $345.00, when in AMAZON; Walmart, Best Buy, Target, etc. have more discount because it´s President's Day weekend (besides of that, the manager "Alexander" must think I´m stupid). I found the same robot at $265.00 but I´m not going to buy the same brand so in 2 years I have to buy a new one again! NO, I don't think it's fair for Shark's customers to receive this treatment, I hope this goes viral Besides all, one year ago, they told me they couldn't extend my guarantee because they only had it for one year, and now they have it up to 5 years because of the same issue I have with the same and other products. Their products are disposable If you're going to buy any item of shark, think about it!
Title Seems to have decent reviews. It's on sale for 800 bucks at the moment, is it a good deal? TIA
