I use Pirate Ship. I use the website directly, not through any ecommerce platform since I just use it to send random things to friends. I have to enter measurements for each package. I can save my frequently used sizes. For that low of a volume, can she buy the postage on Pirate Ship and enter the tracking into her sales platform to send to her customer? More on reddit.com

Yes. Any shipping service can save you money off the retail counter price at the post office. They all offer the same discounts. Do you use PayPal? You can ship and print mailing labels direct from PayPal for the same rates ( https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_ship-now ). I spent about $15k annually on shipping, I figure the discount saves me about 10%. More on reddit.com

So my girlfriend does custom paintings for people, usually around 10 per month, and on bigger paintings the shipping is around $150, while smaller ones still run $30 or so. She always uses USPS and averages less than 10 packages a month.
I'm trying to find a way to possibly cheapen those costs, and was looking into the discount shipping companies listed in the title but they all seem to be integrated into Etsy and Shopify. Does anyone have any suggestions? Every package is sized differently, so she can't use a pre-determined weight or flat-rate shipping box like these companies seem to offer.

I'm not sure exactly what your question is? When she sells a painting, she'd enter the package size and weight into one of those sites to get a price and buy the label. Most people using those sites are shipping individual packages with differing sizes and weights, I don't see anything particularly unusual about her situation.

Shippo allows me to populate all my shipping services in one place. I have it linked to shopify and the handshake between the two softwares makes life a lot easier. All new orders get populated into shippo, when the label is bought the tracking number goes back to shopify.

I run two small stores on a beach. We never focused on creating a website or online sales because it didn’t seem like it would be worth it, considering most customers buy our items as a souvenir after visiting our beaches.
However, now I am getting a lot of requests for shipping since my state is not allowing out-of-staters in unless they quarantine for 14 days.
I have been shipping through USPS and the shipping can get pretty expensive. I have been using priority mail shipping because it only costs a little more than regular shipping and includes insurance.
None of my customers have complained about the shipping price but I would like to get it down if possible. For example it costs $8.40 to ship a small padded envelope that would fit one or two tshirts and $15.05 to ship a medium box that could fit maybe 5 or 6 tshirts.
Have any of you used Shippo or any other similar website to help get shipping costs down? Any advice is appreciated!

A lot of Etsy sellers use Pirateship , which could be a good fit if you ship lots of small things.
