How to: 1. close all tabs, 2. launch new tab, 3. resize Microsoft Edge to a fixed window size, using a shortcut?
I know, right click a tab and select "Close other tabs", AFAIK there is no shortcut for that(?), and also how to resize Edge. But, as the title says: how to: close all tabs, then launch new tab, and last but not least resize… More on learn.microsoft.com

r/WindowsHelp on Reddit: The button to minimize all tabs disappeared after the Windows Copilot shortcut appeared.
February 17, 2024 -

Hello Windows 11 Reddit

When I went to minimize all tabs earlier, I noticed that the button was gone and now replaced with the Windows Copilot shortcut. I thought this was strange and figured that if I removed the shortcut then the other shortcut would come back. It has not re-appeared even after restarting my System.

How could I get the minimized shortcut back? I use it almost every day.

Hey all, the Show Desktop option is now disabled by default. You can easily re-enable, and the toggle if you want to turn off the Copilot button is on the same page. To manage this, go to Settings -> Personalization -> Taskbar -> Taskbar behavior, then "Select the far corner of the taskbar to show the desktop". There also is a toggle near the top for the Copilot button. I used my blog to take screenshots and help others that stumble upon this: https://froggypwns.com/windows/restoring-the-show-desktop-option-and-or-turning-off-the-copilot-button-on-windows-11/

After you close a tab, the tab to the right will slide over under your mouse cursor, so you can also middle-click several times to close multiple tabs.

This feature can be handy if you want to leave the desktop program open but get rid of all the files you're working on in quick succession. Ctrl+W works in most browsers too, so you can close the current tab you're looking at without taking your hands off the keyboard.
