Most reliable mic/reciever sets start near $1000, each. If you are looking for something cheaper, I'd look for used gear.. Shure does make some cheaper units, but the frequency options are limited - which could quickly invite interference issues... especially with the 600MHz band just being bought out, and TV stations transitioning into the 500's (USA). Tiny rant: Can everyone stop using those stupid giant clip on Rode and DJI mics. They look so amateur. Hate them so much. /rant Anyway, basically you can use whatever does the job well. The Rode and DJI dual kits are synonymous with “content creators”. Whatever you get you’ll probably need a 4 channel audio recorder too. The Zoom PodTrak P4 is great value for money and sounds good with all sorts of inputs and is decent with low output dynamic mics like SM7 too. Works as a standalone recorder or as an audio interface for a computer. More on reddit.com

Shure ULXP4, J1 band...should I buy?
I own a bunch of the same wireless. They work great for small shows where they have a low budget. I live in an area where you can get some clean frequencies without much effort. That’s a lot of gear for a great price of $1000. More on reddit.com

Hello, I need to set up a church with a reliable sound system to replace their current wireless system that is giving them trouble. It is a small church with an older, technically challenged crew, so ease of use is important.
There are a few options for 4 mic systems for around 300-400 dollars but I am worried about the quality. I don't want to recommend something bad to them or something they'll have to replace. I am also not sure if two 2 mic systems would be better. I know Shure and Sennheiser make good stuff but cost is a factor.
If possible i'd like 3 options, under 500, under 1000 and under 2000.

Shure does make some cheaper units, but the frequency options are limited - which could quickly invite interference issues... especially with the 600MHz band just being bought out, and TV stations transitioning into the 500's (USA).

Under 500: forget wireless, go wired. Under 1000: one channel of Shure SLX-D or Sennheiser EW-D and three wired mics. Under 2000: three channels of SLX-D and a wired mic. Used Shure UHF-R is an interesting option, but I’m not sure I’d want to invest in analog wireless these days now that digital is relatively affordable. There’s a chance it might be cheaper, but is the price savings worth the sound quality difference? On average I’m seeing UHF-R go for $700/channel on Reverb, which is just about the same price as SLX-D brand new at MSRP. (Then again, UHF-R was Shure’s workhorse analog RF for years. It will still serve you well if you can get it at a cost that justifies it.) Similarly, this rules out BLX (Shure’s cheap analog line) and Sennheiser G4 (which I would’ve recommended not long ago before SLX-D and EW-D came out). Shure ULX-D and QLX-D are awesome but expensive and unnecessary for your use case. SLX-D will fit your needs here.

Hey everyone. So I'm looking for new mics for my 4 people podcst. It would be best if they are wireless mics as part of the things we do is go out and do stuff together.
Video is recorded through an iPhone or GoPro (depending on the situation). It should throw back 4 separate channels for post editing
We are a bit lost here. We see most set ups are made of two wireless mics so I'm not sure if you can buy another 2pack and be done with it or how to connect them together even. Any help would be much appreciated.
Just for context, we used to do Pdcast virtually, each with a Blue Snowball, now that we are looking to record at a same space and with videos things have gotten far more complicated
