r/chrome on Reddit: Android chrome how to add site in site setting
September 9, 2024 -

I currently use a Samsung S22, but my previous phone was a Pixel 3a. As someone who prefers minimalism when it comes to apps, I avoid installing unnecessary ones. On my Pixel 3a, I was able to access Yahoo Mail via Chrome, and Chrome would send me notifications whenever I received a new email. It worked perfectly, allowing me to skip installing the Yahoo Mail app or adding my Yahoo account to the Gmail app. However, on my Samsung S22, I’m having trouble replicating this setup. I can't figure out how to add Yahoo Mail under Chrome's site settings. While I’ve managed to add other sites like www.abc.com, Yahoo Mail is giving me a hard time. It’s a minor issue, but it’s been bothering me.

6 secret settings for a smarter Chrome Android setup – Computerworld
June 7, 2024 - Android’s Dark Theme is a delightful way to make your virtual world a little easier on the eyes, especially in the evening hours or anytime you’re in a dim setting — say, a server room deep in the bowels of your company workplace or maybe a gigantic vat of Velveeta after you’ve been shrunken down to a tiny Lego-character size. But oddly enough, using the system-wide Dark Theme toggle doesn’t actually affect the web. Most sites still show up bright as day and as a harsh contrast to the dim, mellow vibes the rest of Android offers up in that context. ... Once again, type chrome:flags into your browser’s address bar.
