I have worked for a small firm for two years now. My boss is asking me to run short current for a project using SKM. However the only training I've received on it was my boss's nephew hitting buttons seemingly at random. "Here's how you do this this this. Boom study. Easy."
My boss now expects me to know it and use it based on that and random information available on the internet of which there seems to be very little (with regards to SKM).
So how am I supposed to learn this software? Any advice would be helpful.

I would start at the documentation that should automatically be saved on your machine when you install PTW. Likely at the path "C:\PTW_V9\Doc". Look for the pdf "Reference-DAPPER" and go to the short circuit study section. I'm assuming you're performing a three phase fault calc to select equipment SCCR values but double check that if you're unsure.

There’s a really good tutorial on YouTube. It’s a 2 part, hour long each, instructional lecture of some Indian guy teach a class SKM with a screen recording. He goes through setting up a model, placing devices, selecting the library parts, running a short circuit study and creating coordination curves.
