Why do I need a dining room set?
What are the pros and cons of metal frame dining sets?
How can I tell if a dining room set is more suited for a residential home or a commercial space?
Small island / cart table with stool seating in the middle of the empty space? Or a slightly bigger table pushed up against the back of the couch? Round or rectangular? IMO the space is smaller in real life than how it’s appearing in the pics.
I am looking to replace our dining room table. We will be using it every day for our meals and also for large family gatherings so I am looking for something that can hold up well with small children and look nice.
I would love to spend $5k plus on a custom table but it’s not in the budget right now. Does anyone have suggestions for a regular, extendable dining room table that will last with kids and between $1k-$3k with chairs?
The style I have been looking for is walnut colored mid century modern. I like the Vincent from Castlery but they do not make it extendable and the Seb is too light.
