Hey everyone,
Looking for some advice here. My 2019 Samsung 8K TV recently broke down, and unfortunately, Samsung doesn’t have a replacement board to fix it. The good news is, they’ve offered to compensate me with the current value of the TV.
Now, I’m trying to decide between upgrading to a newer Samsung 8K model or switching over to Sony. I’m particularly interested in the Sony Bravia 9 and the A95L, but I’m open to other recommendations as well.
Has anyone here made a similar switch or had experience with either of these models? I’d love to hear your thoughts on the picture quality, features, and overall performance of these TVs. Which would you go for and why?

Samsung 8k models are generally worse than their own good 4k models. 8k models are mostly pointless to begin with. Without any meaningful information it’s hard to pick between B9 and A95L. What will work for one person might not work for another. Search the sub to see what works for you.
