In short, over the last several months, I've been remembering getting woken up by my spouse more, and at the same time I was getting more and more tired during the day. Upgrading from a queen to a king mattress helped a little bit, but the issue still persists. Sleeping in separate beds is not an option, because my spouse views our time together in bed sleeping as valuable intimacy in their life.
I've tried several things to alleviate me getting woken up by my spouse, with some success, but I'm still tired during the day.
It seems the only option left is to get a split king mattress (which my spouse says will still count as sleeping in the same bed for their needs) and hoping that completely isolates me from my spouse's movements.
Will a split king mattress accomplish this? Or will it just open up a different style or flavor of getting woken up by my spouse's movements at night?
