I also have a sleep number adjustable base split king, and I am looking for a bed frame. I like one from Frontgate that has slats and was told the warranty will be voided if I use an adjustable base frame. More on reddit.com

Tempur-pedic split king bed frame and headboard?

Trust me, skip the all-in-one sets. Here's what works: Platform base & headboard: Look for a split king platform base online (Amazon has tons). This is the moneymaker - hides your adjustable base and adds storage! Headboard only (optional): If storage isn't a must, a headboard can still look sharp. Avoid two twin XL beds - looks janky and creates a gap. Measure your space before buying! I hope this helps. More on reddit.com

Small room but want storage? A king size headboard is the answer! King size bed is 80” wide, every bed type is 80” long. Plop a mattress sideways and you have more room by shortening the bed, and more storage/shelving with the headboard.
