I use a motorized sit-stand desk (freaking love it), and literally shopping right now for new office chairs. As I'm typing I'm sitting in a floor model of the Staples Berwood Mesh and Fabric Task Chair, which might be what I buy for now (though in the future I could see myself investing in crazy ergo chairs like Herman Miller, or potentially something like the TCentric Hybrid). Overall it depends on how you're built, how you sit and how you feel most productive/comfortable. NEVER EVER buy a chair over 200$ without first sitting in it for at least half an hour. Cushions flatten, spines ache, and you'll be spending a good chunk of your life in that thing. Know what you're getting yourself into (even if it's ergo-crazy like Herman Miller, try it first!). Try to find something adjustable (I like taking the arms off my chairs), that breathes (I personally like mesh-back but cushion seat), and that will last (warranty is always a plus). Otherwise, my recommendation will be as subjective as anyone else's, because we're not you. I say do your research, and fall in love with one that you think is perfect. Find your Prince Charming of office chairs, in essence.
