It was not my favorite Holly books, and I had some gripes but overall I liked it. I liked the bad guys. Holly can be a little airbrained in this one. Missing obvious clues she would have never missed when she was younger. I think HOLLY was amazing. I loved it. NEVER FLINCH was OK. King kinda sucks at writing kids and young adults I think. JEROME was cool I guess, but Barbara was written as if she was a middle aged woman at times. She was not written as a 20 something. After what happened in IF IT BLEEDS and HOLLY, You'd think these kids would have learned their lessons about skipping around without a care in the world. They're too successful to be beleiveable as young adults. I think Barbara was my biggest pain point of the whole book. Otherwise a pretty solid story. I don't hate on it like the rest of these guys will. If you liked the rest of the series, you'll probably get through the book.

I had a feeling he would write at least one more. Considering that Bill Hodges had his own trilogy King would like Holly to have her own trilogy too (she was more like a second protagonist in Outsider and Bleeds was a novella) I still need to read Never Flinch

Sadly Sai King is not getting any younger and there's no dial to change that like there was for Rades. I hope the great man keeps on writing until he's in his 90s. But realistically we are closing in on the finiteness of his output.
With that in mind, what sort of book do you hope to see in the not too distant future from King? Obviously he has the third Talisman book in the pipe line. But beyond that? Is there a particular genre, or follow up, or format of book you want to see before he shuffles off this mortal coil?
