What is your stress score? What is a good score considered to be. If you have improved your score please let me know how you did it? Thanks
I'm not sure how I feel about this stress score. My mom went into hospice and the entire family thought we were going to lose her. I live out of state, so had figure out travel suddenly so I could see her. Meanwhile, I also had a lot things going on at home (cats got fleas just days before, employer doing another massive lay off etc). I haven't felt so stressed in years. I lost 6lbs in 1.5 weeks. My resting heart rate jumped up by 10 beats. I was sleeping only 4 hrs a night on average. I was unable to exercise while traveling, not that I felt up to it, because my stomach was in knots and I was dizzy from lack of sleep/inability to eat. I felt like garbage and even marked myself as extremely stressed. So what score did it give me? 70-85. The same range of scores I had a few weeks before shit hit the fan when I was sleeping 7hrs a night and exercising 4 days a week and eating a healthy diet with a rhr that was 10 beat per min lower! I have no idea what Fitbit is tracking, but it doesn't seem to take emotional stress, even when it impacts your physical body, into much consideration. More on reddit.com

June 13, 2019 - The link below allows you to check the items that apply to the last year of your life and calculate your Holmes and Rahe stress score. ... Last year was a doozy for me! I experienced big life events that included a divorce, after 17 years of marriage, and returning to work, after staying home with my children for over 11 years. My calculated score took into consideration these events and others and I had a whopping score of 444! Although a higher number on the scale predicts a greater likelihood of experiencing a major health breakdown, be it physical or mental, there are proactive steps you can take to prevent, or at least lessen, the chances of such breakdowns occurring.
