It’s odd that they are separate since the app is usually social based. I’m assuming that you did the Truist loan at the dealership and they have your name different (middle initial to no initial, etc). So I've been a long time customer of Suntrust and now I guess Truist. We also recently bought a car and Truist gave us the best rate. Now I have a paper bill and it says "Or GO PAPERLESS, sign up for Truist OnLine Banking Today through Truist.com" - but when I go there it logs into my existing account and I don't see a way to "add" the auto loan. I also don't even see how to make an auto loan account period, whether linked to my existing banking account or not. It's just not intuitive or I must be going blind. Can someone point me in the right direction? My goal would be to have the loan within the same banking account and then I can just have it set to autopay and bam. But i'll settle for a separate online auto loan account. Thanks.

If you have any branches around, you can stop in with your drivers license and they can give you your account info, help set up an online account, etc. I think you can even download the app and set up a new account that way too.

How recent? Typically takes a loan 20-30 days to hit your account (that's why there is usually 45-60 days till first payment.

When I try to log in, it goes through the usual screens but then immediately logs me out and gives me this message:

I've tried different browsers and clearing cookies.
Has anyone else had this problem and how did you resolve it? Is it on my end or theirs?

Posting my experience with this. It turned out that our savings account was automatically closed without Truist notifying us. It sounds like certain accounts automatically close after 35 days of inactivity.
