The ProAdapt name is only sold at Sleep Country. I guess they have contracted to the rights. If you go to Tempurpedic Canada website you can see the other names of the same mattress that they rebrand for other retailers. The Brick has the Tempur Support 2.0 brand name. Ashley's the Temour Sense brand name etc. I did a lot of comparison shopping and pointed out to Tempurpedic that from what I could see from their own website and the retailers descriptions, the core of the three main product lines, Adapt, ProAdapt, and ProBreeze are the same at the Brick, Ashley's etc. What does differ is the top cover. For instance the Adapt Series has the Cool To the Touch cover followed by the ES and Comfort Layers of foam. The Support 2.0 and Sense models have instead a fabric cover with some Cool To The Touch phase change material beneath and then the same core of ES and Comfort Layers. Similarly, the AdaptPro Series has a Smart Climate zip off exterior cover, with some breathable stretch performance layer below it and then the core which consists of ES and APR layers. In comparison the ProSupport 2.0 has instead the knit exterior cover with the Cool To Touch change material (same as the base model) and then the core is the ES and APR Layers. I asked the CS Rep if I was correct the only difference was the cover piece(s). I pointed our if the Adapt was $3800 and the Support 2.0 $2300 that that is quite a lot to pay for a cover. The response to me was that I nailed it and the core components were constant but that they have different beds for different retailers. Skip down to find your ProAdapt King mattress, but in it's different names Align and Support 2.0, at 3 other retailers for sure and far less than price you see at SC online. Again, difference is the cover not the core comfort layers. By no means is this following list exhaustive, (however it was exhausting research me trying to figure out what was sold where to comparison shop on sale prices), but it is somewhat helpful in locating different versions of the main Tempurpedic line to do some comparison shopping on price. Adapt (Sleep Country) Adapt: Medium(Teal),and Firm (Orange) Notice no Soft. ProAdapt:Soft(Blue), Medium(Teal), Firm(Orange), Notice no Hybrid. I checked The Brick and they have the ProSupport Soft in King on Sale now for $3,314. The difference between this and ProAdapt is the outer layer. Hudson Bay has the ProAlign in various comfort levels in King. A ProAlign Medium or Soft King mattress is $3,700 LinenChest ProAlign Medium King $3400 Note that Sleep Country sticker price is at least $1000 above retail so they make it difficult to compare without going in and getting a quote. They will drop the price significantly though. They also gave me the line about having the best quality and first pick of Tempur beds. From what I have seen, yeh, they get what Tempurpedic designed and marketed in the US. (But they don't sell the hybrids). And as I got it from the horses mouth the beds are essentially the same but for fabric whicking vs some Climate control cover ...yet the others with fabric add a layer of whatever CoolToTheTouch Change material is. Long term TP owner here. Basically the mattress takes some getting used to (give yourself at least two months, get used to the floaty feel and also the slightly higher body heat retention). Overall, I wouldn’t change it for another mattress. Having run sleep apps, its clear that I barely move all night whilst on a TP leading to much better quality sleep. By contrast, even on very high end sprung mattresses, I end up moving a lot more with greater disrupted sleep. Stories about TP mattresses sagging should be taken with a pinch of salt. Unless you are seriously heavy, I wouldn’t worry about it. I have two TP beds in my house. No sagging at all after 5 and 10 years of use respectively. The only downside I can think of is that the mattresses sleep slightly hotter. This is only noticeable in summer, and the solution is simply to cover yourself with less. In summary: I’d go for it.
