March 20, 2024 - We are in season 2 now. The CGI dinosaurs aren’t great but it’s funny when they show up. They are supposedly on a plateau of sorts and are separated from the real world. There’s no nudity but it definitely feels like there should be. Apparently there was some when it originally aired. Did I mention how campy it is? There are a lot of people in this Lost World too.

Overall, "The Lost World" (2001) is well worth a look, especially for kids, but also for adults who enjoy exploration and high adventure. ... i just finished watching this two-parter on channel 2, Australian TV, and WOW!

Well worth the price to add this to your TV DVD collection. ... SACD's saga of a band of explorers lost on a fantastic plateau in the South American jungle has been introduced during its first season. Season 2 starts to develop the characters and their amazing chemistry and relationships beautifully.
