Those people are a fictional tribe, so the way they are depicted may be acceptable or not, I don't know, they aren't demonized or anything. This show was made with BBC, so they used some of the same CG models from Walking With Beasts, and made a few original ones for the show as well. Some of the score reminds me of The Lost World: Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park 3.
