The Nublar Six encounter the Therizinosaurus on their way to vet clinic to find Bumpy. Due to both the injured Ben and the forest fire, the group struggled to outpace the highly agitated animal. They eventually reached the clinic and the dinosaur left.

Its long neck and pointed beak suggest that Therizinosaurus' diet consisted of high-level vegetation such as tree branches and large shrubs. It shared its environment with a variety of other animals; among them dinosaurs like Gallimimus, Homalocephale, and the apex predator Tarbosaurus.
