Thanks for that! I suppose it’s just a matter of waiting for Tidal and Sonos to get it worked out, then. I haven’t seen anything official from either side on this particular topic, but I’ll keep an eye out.

Maybe this is well known and I’m the last to figure it out so bear with me. I have an HD Fury Arcana, an Arc with surrounds and sub, and I use an Apple TV 4K for most of my media viewing. I subscribe to the HD Fury YouTube channel and notice that they posted a new video of playing full bit rate audio from the Tidal app on Apple TV, so I thought I would give it a try.
Mind. Blown.
I already thought the Arc sounded great, but the Dolby Atmos music on Tidal is next level. It sounds amazing.

Just got a similar setup up and running (ARC+Sub+surrounds). Running Tidal on a Fire TV Stick 4K through the HD Fury Arcana. I thought I had tried this in the past, but it seems like its working and the Sonos app is showing it is receiving an Atmos stream. Sounds absolutely incredible!

I’m pretty sure Dolby Atmos audio isn’t supported on the TIDAL app on Samsung TVs.FYI… set the TV to the settings that results in “Stereo PCM” audio from the TIDAL app.

You cannot stream Dolby Atmos music directly from the TIDAL app on your phone or from the Sonos app to the Arc.You need to stream it from the TV’s native TIDAL app or from an external media device that supports Dolby Atmos music on TIDAL like an Apple TV 4K or Nvidia Shield.
