r/VacuumCleaners on Reddit: Tineco iFLOOR 5 Breeze vs Tineco Floor One S3 Ultra
December 1, 2024 -

Hi Experts

For Black Friday i see these 2 vacuums are similarly priced. I am in Canada, so vacuums are not that cheap here.

https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/tineco-floor-one-s3-extreme-wet-dry-vacuum-blue/16474519

https://www.amazon.ca/Tineco-iFLOOR-Breeze-Complete-Self-Cleaning/dp/B0CRR8FJSD

I tried to figure out between these 2 which one is better but did not get much comparison.

I have mostly kitchen tiles+hardwood+area rug (no carpet).

Experts please advise.

TIA

Edit:
Budget: $250-$300

r/VacuumCleaners on Reddit: Tineco iFloor 3 vs iFloor S3 Breeze differences?
September 8, 2025 -

Greetings. I am looking to pick up a wet/dry floor cleaner (using a separate machine for my area rugs) and I kind of have it narrowed down to these two models.

Is the only difference the fact that one talks to you (the S3 breeze) vs the regular 3. IE do they have the same cleaning capabilities? One is $189 (Wallmart) and the S3 is $269 (Amazon).

Thanks!

I have laminate and tile floors. Also, I found some info and it seems the breeze is a smaller unit....for my needs I am probably better off with the larger unit. Since I am buying a separate carpet cleaner...and it has been my experience that these wet dry floor cleaners don't last very long, my budget is $250.

r/VacuumCleaners on Reddit: Tineco S3 for Pets and Allergies
January 14, 2021 -

I've had the Tineco S3 since December now and thought it was time to do a review. The S3 is a "hard floor cleaner" basically a cordless vacuum mop with a rotating microfibre mop head, a washable filter, and clean and dirty water tanks.

I have a hobby farm and a long haired border collie dog. The previous owners made the terrible decision of cream carpet in the living areas, but the kitchen is vinyl and the bathrooms and laundry are tile. I was struggling to mop, somehow lacking the motivation to get it done after vacuuming the house. I have laid down a large piece of "woodplank" vinyl underneath a big playpen for my dog, and his area needed turning out and mopping weekly, but this was always an ordeal I dreaded. I also don't wear shoes in the house, so barefoot comfort was really important.

I have a variety of vacuums available to me, a canister Dyson, a Dyson V11, a Dyson V7, a Neato robot vacuum and a robot mop. On a day to day basis, I use the Dyson V11 almost exclusively. The canister lives in the garage, and the V7 in the laundry to clean the lint filter in my dryer. Since I moved house 3 years ago I have not taken the robots out of their boxes and their batteries are probably dead. I have an Enjo microfibre mop system.

I bought the Tineco S3 for $800 AUD (I think it's much cheaper in the US) as an impulse purchase--I had company coming for Christmas.

It has absolutely changed the way I clean my home. Before, mopping was something that was done only before company or after my guilty feelings piled up enough that I forced myself to do it--I always intended to mop out the dog's pen once a week but that would drag out. Now my hard floors get mopped daily or every second day, because it's easy and fun and the result is so nice.

It takes less than 10 minutes to do my kitchen, the dog's pen, my bathroom and laundry. I usually have to empty or refill the water containers once. I disassemble at the end of the day, wash the microfibre roller with bar soap, and put it on a windowsill to dry. The underfoot feel of the clean floor is amazing (a bit addictive!). I thought it would make less work of mopping--it hasn't, really, but instead my floors are much cleaner than they were and I am happier. I'm happier cooking things like broccoli and cauliflower, that always drop little bits on the floor, because I know they'll get cleaned up easily. I'm happy to take the dog to the beach knowing it picks up the sand from his pen.

When I have loads of visitors (sometimes as many as 10 kids and adults), I can run through the bathrooms really quickly and it picks up all the hair, water puddles, and any pee sprinkles.

It has reduced my allergies, and my dog's skin allergies, and massively reduced the amount of dust in my house (and therefore my dusting).

The charging station is set up in the kitchen and it is so great to grab it quickly and mop up any kitchen spills.

Practicalities:

Battery runs for about 20 minutes, but I've never run the battery out.

It does clean "flat" carpet and rugs although it's not designed for it.

If I miss 3 days of cleaning the dog's pen, I need to sweep or vacuum first because there's too much dog hair (my dog does shed an incredible amount).

None of the techy "smart" features work (it doesn't auto-detect dirt, it just randomly changes the speed and intensity at times), the self cleaning feature is incredibly annoying and nonsensical (it talks too much, and is very demanding, still needs to be properly cleaned afterwards).

Needs to be cleaned daily--common sense, but if you let it sit it will smell bad and eventually grow mould I'm sure. Microfibre is best cleaned with bar soap, not detergent or liquid soap.

Self-propelling function makes it incredibly easy to use, much easier than vacuums or sweeping.

Doesn't get particularly close to the edge of the wall, and is lopsided so that it gets closer on the right edge than the left edge, annoying, but my NYR is not to sweat the small stuff like baseboards and edges.

Turns itself off if you try and use it in an upright fashion, always needs to be on quite an angle to work, so bad for tight spaces.

I can't source the Tineco solution in Australia, so I use the Bissell Crosswave Pets solution, or plain water.

It comes with two heads and two filters, great! But doesn't give proper upkeep instructions. It alleges it is self-cleaning. It is not. Remove the head daily and wash with bar soap, squeeze off excess water, and leave to dry in a sunny spot otherwise you will end up with a really smelly bacteria-laden mop head.

Floors are left almost dry, and dry in a minute or two even on cold/humid days.
