So I had a music playlist that I made on youtube music that I wanted to share with a friend. He doesn't have yt music nor spotify. I wanted to convert the yt music playlist to a youtube one. Found TuneMyMusic. It did the job perfectly after I allowed it access to some things on my account. 30 minutes later, my youtube account got banned for "spam". What? This just happened.
When I entered youtube the page said that I am banned and I can send a review or smth like that. Ofc, I sent it saying that I did nothing, and TuneMyMusic is the culprit.
Searched the web and only very few people seemed to have talked about this, or had this happened to them.
Don't use TuneMyMusic, it might get you banned.
Currently waiting for a response from YouTube. If they don't reopen my account, that will be devastating, since the youtube algorithm is perfectly crafted over 15 years, and the yt music algo was developing, only switched from spotify 6 month ago or something.
Luckily I didn't have many playlists I cared for.

I wasn't aware of this service, but was idly wondering whether it was possible to load one of my Spotify playlists into YouTubeMusic.
This was a dead simple tool to achieve it and just wanted to make others aware of it if they've playlists they'd like to move over from other music services.
From what I see, it does it sensibly with OAuth permissions for Spotify and YTM, so it doesn't get any passwords.
It's at https://www.tunemymusic.com/ if anyone wants to have a go. Seemed to work well. I've no connection with them other than finding their tool on the internet and using it.
You get what you pay for with TuneMyMusic. Many songs are listed in the playlist as unavailable, and some of the ones that are available are completely wrong. I just subscribed to Soundiiz. Initial evaluation was better, hopefully I don't bump into issues later.

I wanted to transfer my playlists from YouTube Premium to Spotify Premium. I chose TuneMyMusic, and I transferred what I could using the free version, which had limitations. Meanwhile, I was looking at Reddit posts, and I read in several places that it's a scam, and some people had their accounts banned after using TuneMyMusic. Among the transferred songs, there are many I don't even recognize, and some songs were replaced with lower-quality versions, even though the same version is available on Spotify as on YouTube. I supposedly revoked its permissions in Google Activity, and I changed the password for my Google account (I use it to connect all my apps). I deleted the permissions under Connections on the TuneMyMusic site. I didn't register beforehand. However, when I go to their site, I immediately see my history, and even clicking on the transfers opens my Spotify account, already logged in. What else should I do? Where should I check to make sure I've completely severed all connections?
Edit: On Spotify, I clicked "revoke access" within "Manage apps". I couldn't find a similar interface on YouTube.
