Stick with Disney. Universal has a much greater emphasis on thrills and shock value and much worse food, especially within the parks. I wouldn't go to Universal at all if you weren't at least mildly ok with thrill rides. I'd encourage you to be open-minded about Disney rides and attractions. Quite a few involve slowly moving past scenes in a boat or other ride vehicle and aren't thrill-oriented in the slightest. As Star Wars fans, I imagine you'll want to experience Rise of the Resistance, one of the best theme park attractions done anywhere. Epcot has a lot of slow moving rides past greenhouses, a ride where you rise up to "soar" above world landmarks, a ride that chronicles the history of communication, etc. At Animal Kingdom, one of the big rides is a 100 acre simulation of an African Safari. And of course at Magic Kingdom, you have some of the most famous and justly acclaimed attractions of all time, like Pirates of the Carribbean, the Haunted Mansion, and It's a Small World. Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios are definitely more ride-based than Epcot and Animal Kingdom. All of the theme parks have good indoor table service options, as do many of the hotels. Make reservations before you go on Disney's website to ensure that you're able to dine where you want. Epcot is probably the park with the strongest table service lineup, and Magic Kingdom is the weakest food park in general, though it also has some solid sitdown places. The entertainment I would most recommend would be the Festival of the Lion King at Animal Kingdom, and of course Happily Ever After is the fantastic fireworks show in the evening at Magic Kingdom. Orlando is a much bigger resort. Obviously with two parks. You need an express pass to do in one day, two days without. They two have some similar rides, but a lot are different, especially in Islands of Adventure. If you can only do one park, I strongly encourage Islands of Adventure. USF is worth it for Diagon Alley and their version of the Mummy. More on reddit.com

The biggest and most obvious one is the studio tram tour. Orlando (or any theme park in the world AFAIK) doesn’t have anything like it. Also, not unique amongst all Universal parks, but USH has the Waterworld stunt show unlike USO. Not a ride, but the Starway escalators between the upper and lower are pretty unique (and kind of annoying to ride) and the views are nice. The Fast & Furious coaster will be unique once it’s completed. Besides that, most of the duplicate rides are pretty similar, if not exactly the same. The biggest difference I can think of is the two Mummy coasters, as they have entirely different storylines and mostly different ride layouts. Orlando’s (the superior version IMO) breaks the fourth wall by being based on the cast and crew of the film uncovering a real curse on their set, while the Hollywood version has guests go into the world of the movie itself by entering the mummy’s tomb. Jurassic World has obviously been updated to be based on the newer movies but the actual ride layout wasn’t modified and is very similar to Jurassic Park in IOA. More on reddit.com

The Canaveral to Orlando ride is dependent on road condition/ traffic. One hour is not guaranteed and you are assuming you find a quick uber back to Canveral from Universal. The walk from the drop off to ticket booth wil security line is another factor. That 4 hours might be even shorter and the whole time you will be stressed, checking your watch. Kennedy Space center would be more realistic and you can easily spend half a day there without stressing out on missing the ship departure. More on reddit.com
