These days there's little benefit to using UPS at all, so I would say don't worry about it. All the benefits we once had are largely gone. We used to have Preferred Customer Service, a domestic call center that offered concierge services for any issues. Now we're dumped into the regular call center in Bagladesh or wherever and they are next to useless. I haven't seen our account executive for 2 years, COVID is no longer a valid excuse. Pricing is based on volume, so perhaps that's a benefit, but it's not a massive savings, it's a sliding scale. There is one remaining benefit, as small as it may be, their technology awards, which is basically spendable points you can use to buy shipping equipment and software. It doesn’t get better. We tried reaching out to our account manager with no call backs for 8 months. It took the ladies in the customer service center where we dropped off our packages and speaking to one of the night managers to get a call back. The pricing they gave is was twice the cost of what we were getting from Stamps.com “because you need to ship more”. As the folks in the customer service center can attest to, we were dropping off 1000 packages a day during our busy seasons (5 times a year). They finally got us set up to have daily pickups, but the pickups were at our house, not our warehouse, despite our online account showing pickups at our warehouse. More on reddit.com
