877-289-6418, option 4 (other) I just was able to speak to a live UPS person about my delivery issue (3 failed delivery attempts, even though I was home, and now being returned to sender). Found out the identity of the sender, contacted sender, and make alternative arrangements. I chose call-back option and got a call back within 10 minutes. It seems to me that 800-742-5877 is strictly Artificial Intelligence no matter what time you call.

If anyone finds out a way, please let me know. I just moved in April and I got an “extremely urgent express” envelope to a women who I am assuming lived here before me. I brought it down to the UPS store and they gave me the 1 800 742 5877 number, and said that I had to call UPS to tell them that it was delivered here by mistake. That seems like insanity to make me leave with the envelope that isn’t mine that says extremely urgent. I should’ve probably just handed it to them said this isn’t mine and ran. Or right return to sender and drop it off in a UPS box. I was just trying to do the right thing because it said extremely urgent.
