I do not think so. It used to be, the wasn’t, then was again, but the last couple of times I checked on the tracking of my packages it was nowhere to be found, and even when I searched for it on UPS or Google I couldn’t not find it. From what I researched, some people were using the follow my delivery to harass and rob UPS drivers. There was a robbery that possibly even ended up with the driver seriously injured/killed (but again these were just theories I heard, not solid facts). Also I could imagine people hassling their ups driver, potentially seeing they were just across town and instead of waiting for their package they would approach/interrupt the truck at other businesses/residences to try and get their package early. I get a map that pops up in my app about half the time. Sometimes the 3 promps (on the road, in your area, almost there) work great. Sometimes they never move at all and sometimes i don't get any map. Is this the specific truck that determines if this works? Is it my service level or maybe the driver? I'd like to understand it if at all possible thanks.

It depends on the driver's tablet, called a diad. The diad is what sends out the GPS signal, well it is supposed to. Some diads are better than others. For some unknown reason there are diads that just plain suck at transmitting and if you driver has a sucky one, then good luck following them. Also, since the diads work off cell phone towers, if the towers are running at peak capacity with calls, the diad GPS signal can't get through since it is considered a lower priority than a phone call. Also, some drivers know how to turn off the radio transmitter so they do that occasionally. Other times the driver will deliver to a factory that runs a signal jammer to keep people from stealing corporate secrets and that jammer will put the diad into airplane mode. The driver doesn't always remember to turn the radio back on immediately. Add to that weather and buildings that are basically faraday cages and you end up with lots of reasons why you can't see the driver on the map.

April 3, 2024 - All it does is let you watch while the UPS truck delivers to every neighborhood around yours BUT NOT YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD for 8 hours. Then you get to watch them go back to the warehouse at 8pm, having never delivered your package. And it happens every single time. Either I get packages at 9pm, after they've gone back to the warehouse and then finally come back, or I wait for a 2nd day while they deliver to everyone around me while driving DIRECTLY past my street no less than 7 times.
