There are two issues: (1) the hardware volume on the dongle is set to half by default connecting to an Android phone. This can be fixed by using Universal Audio Player Pro which can adjust the hardware volume on the dongle. This adjusts it in the dongle for anything else on the phone also. (2) the EU version of the dongle has half the voltage (0.5V) compared with the US version (1V). Half the voltage means only 1/4 of the power. This is due to EU regulations around protecting people's hearing. If you get the US version, and do the volume fix with UAPP, it has quite a bit of power, particularly into low impedances, Amir measured it at 31mW @33Ω. It has much less power into higher impedances. It's possible you wouldn't need to the volume fix if you only use it with IEMs, it might be more than loud already, and it having a quieter max might give you more sensitive adjustment with the volume control. If you specifically want something for harder-to-drive over-ears, you might be better off with a more powerful dongle. Or if you just want more power- there are plenty of dongles which will max volume on connect to Android and don't need this workaround. More on reddit.com

Check your charging port, it maybe the issue here and needs to be cleaned out. I would also check the power adapter and see if that guy has crapped out. You can also talk to apple and say your new cable is it working and ask for replacement if the issue isn’t fixed More on reddit.com
