I think you can't go wrong with UXfolio. Even though it's not super customizable, it has a great structure to showcase each piece of your portfolio in a direct manner. Sometimes we get lost in customization and forget that the most important thing is to present solid case studies and projects. If I were you, I would start with enhancing my case studies with Uxfolio. With that ready, you can start coding your own website (if this is something new to you it can take some time to create it the way you envision). Whenever you finish coding you just transfer all the content from your uxfolio to your new website. This way you don't wait that much to have your work showcased online. I wish you the best of luck with your job search! Answer from travellingsaleslady on reddit.com

r/UXDesign on Reddit: Uxfol.io or Webflow to create UX portfolio?
July 16, 2020 -
Hello everyone!
I am finishing off a couple of my portfolios and I'm thinking of applying for UX design internships within the next couple of months. However, I want a full-time job by 13 months.
I saw that Uxfol.io was very simple and easy to make a portfolio but I feel like they're not customizable enough. So I was wondering if I should use Webflow to create a more aesthetic, creative, and original portfolio.
I am willing to put in the work to make a more complex portfolio with Webflow if it means that I get more job offers!
Which one would you recommend? Thanks!

Does it need to be a website? Seriously! Ask yourself "why does my UX Portfolio need to be a website?" And consider this, you UX portfolio could be a PDF 🤯!! Seriously, since 2017 I’ve been teach people how to create a UX portfolio and I strongly advocate that they create a PDF. So often people say the website portfolio takes so long to make, the templates are as easy to customize, and hosting etc can be expensive. Here’s an article I wrote about how to devices if your UX portfolio should be a website or PDF. Seriously just please ask yourself “does my UX portfolio really need to be a website?” Good luck!

Why UX Portfolio Feedback is Crucial for Landing Your Next Job - UXfolio Blog
May 30, 2025 - The pros: it’s similar to how reviews happen during interviews, quicker to schedule, and more comfortable for the reviewer. The cons: people tend to be less critical in person, and nuances can be lost since the conversation may feel rushed because of the shorter, more rigid time frame. The best option is UXfolio’s Review feature.

I've been using UXfolio for a few years for my personal website and it is by far one of the most intuitive and easy-to-use platforms. The templates are beautiful and it is just so easy to set up and start using.
