Evening-

My VP112 (original) lid cracked slightly- I've nursed it along with a seal, but you know how any part that has to withstand nearly 3 tons of pressure... it will fail. I give them an awesome A for designing it to handle this though.

I found the lid literally as I was composing this- but I can't find the pistons. They're all out of stock.

So without tearing my machine apart to measure, does anyone know if, or have, measurements for other parts within this unit or others? Honest the pistons appear to be a weak point for continual failure- they're plastic (prone to plasticizer loss and turning brittle) and outgassing (since they're under vacuum). Ordering a set of spares (again) is doable, but I can't find it in stock. The places that do advertise it get back to me with 'unknown ship date'.

VP112, the piston is listed as 979612.
