Visual Studio Installer Error, Need Help!
Are you on a college campus? Have you tried a different network connection? It seems dumb that they would have Visual Studio's sources blocked on campus for any reason, but some university networks are really strict about the protocols and things that they allow sometimes. Maybe the way it tries to download stuff isn't "liked" by whatever network you are on. More on reddit.com

You can try running the InstallCleanup.exe tool https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/visualstudio/install/uninstall-visual-studio?view=vs-2022 , be warned it will jack up all installations because it will removed shared components as well. More on reddit.com

Ok, I see it, we are only able to rollback to earlier version if using Enterprise or Professional licence (here), in my case, I'm using Community, so it may difficult to do it.

I reInstalled Windows 11 pro, in my HP Probook 450 G10 (i7-1335u), now I can't seem to install Microsoft Visual Studio 2022, whenever I try to install the installer, the download gets stuck over here and this error pops up
I basically can not survive without visual studio since Im supposed to do my semester project on it and need it for all my University related work
I have installed many other apps, all of them are working/downloading completley fine, even VS code with mngw is working completley fine.
I tried to google this and found this solution, but it dosnt work either.
Kindly help me out if anyone can.

Have you speed tested your connection speed? Have you looked this over https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/visualstudio/releases/2022/system-requirements Lastly, try to create an offline installation package https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/visualstudio/install/create-an-offline-installation-of-visual-studio?view=vs-2022 so the installer already has the files needed locally before the attempted installation.

I've been having issues running the setup to install the Visual Studio '22 Installer. I downloaded the VisualStudioSetup.exe file from Microsoft, but whenever I run it, it displays a progress bar like this and opens the UAC prompt:
After granting administrative permission, the setup program just closes without any messages or errors. I'm completely unable to run the VS installer.
I did recently uninstall Visual Studio (along with the installer) in favor of JetBrains Rider, but have decided to switch back. Could this be preventing me from reinstalling the software? I went through the disk and tried to remove all the remaining files from the installation, but this may have messed some things up.
Any help getting this installer to work would be appreciated. Thanks!
