Don't know if I tagged this correctly!
I'm DMing a homebrew and I wanted to use a voice changer to make it more immersive for my players. We'd be doing it over at discord. Does anybody know a good software or something that are compatible with discord?
Thank you!!
Voice changer that works on discord mobile?
For iOS you can try VoiceMod.
For Android:
If you are willing to use an android device on a separate android device as the voice changing microphone - then use aux cable to output to your gaming device:
Our 14-voice Voice Changers for real-time (works with screen off, and in stereo) are now available (beta):
Voices include: Venom, Darth, Kylo Ren, Batman and others.
-
Voice Changer for Gaming
-
Voice Changer for Cosplay
The apps are similar, but will diverge as we add help and instructions specific for gaming and cosplay. Right now the theme for the gaming version is dark, while that for the cosplay one is light.
Apps have no ads. There is a free trial after which a time limit kicks in - the purchase price has been reduced because app is in beta.
Click Help - Cosplay for help setting up external speaker, microphone.

If you want to use an Android phone as a voice changer mic (connecting aux cable from it to your other equipment or external speaker), you can use our apps.
Plug in the aux cable, and then press the Record button - you will get real-time output (the 12-voices usable for Darth/Kylo/Bane/Stormtrooper/C3PO etc.) - each of the voices are individually customizable in real-time.
There is a small latency on android - and that can trip up some cosplay - so maybe keep the phrases short (so your own voice on external speaker doesn't trip you up).
