Solved. Added a new terminal profile, "Ctrl+Shift+P" -> "Create New Terminal with Profile". Select one, click in the gear wheel (you have to put the cursor above the desired profile to see it" and give it a name, for example TerminalNameExample. After, "Ctrl+Shift+P" -> "Terminal: Configure Terminal Settings" -> "Edit in settings.json" Search for TerminalNameExample and put this conf: "TerminalNameExample": { "path": ["${env:windir}\\Sysnative\\cmd.exe", "${env:windir}\\System32\\cmd.exe"], "args": ["/k", "D:\\Softwares\\Visual Studio\\2022\\Community\\Common7\\Tools\\VsDevCmd.bat"], } Replace "D:\\Softwares\\Visual Studio\\2022\\Community\\Common7\\Tools\\VsDevCmd.bat" with the path of your VsDevCmd.bat. Provided that you have key-based SSH access from the container to the host, you can add a terminal profile to your remote settings (run command Preferences: Open Remote Settings (JSON) (Dev Container) to open them):
