I just got a passport photo taken at a Walgreens near me. The lady was very sweet, but when she showed me my picture she told me it looked so good but I hated it. And I for some reason couldn’t bring myself to say I didn’t like it. And walked away and paid $18 for a photo that I hate. I will note that I just got off a 12 hr night shift, am on my period and haven’t eaten since 1am. But I literally cried on the way home because I hated the photo. Dramatic I know but. I’m wondering, do you think i could go back tomorrow and ask them if they could help a girl out and let me retake the picture ? Or should I just call it a loss and pay to get another one taken. What would yall do?
LITTLE UPDATE : I did realize I was quite dramatic in my reaction to my picture after, going home and sleeping and eating lol. However a day later I got a haircut and was just feeling better and went back to get a new pic taken. It was a different woman, and I wasn’t going to tell her i had just gotten one two days prior, however she got busy with other customers and called someone over to help her. Well wouldn’t ya know it’s the lady who took my picture the other day. She was so sweet and we laughed about it and she retook it for me and didn’t charge me for it. The new picture was 100 times better (at least I thought so) and I happily went on my way and submitted my passport. Thanks everyone who commented. I know it’s not a beauty contest and that the pictures don’t matter too much but hey it made me feel better to actually like the picture.
