Tons. Find what works for you. Wallet is more of a tracking app and you can't actively manage your finances. Every dolar ( Dave Ramsey app ) let's you budget your paycheck more actively, takes in account what are you expecting to make and then plan what you will do with the money YNAB ( Personally using this ATM ) is similar to one above. Just that it takes your current money, so it do not care what you will make or expect to make you only actively budget what you have on hand. There's a lot more apps and more methodologies to control your finances, I personally clicked and loved YNAB approach to money management, and it helped our family to make great changes. You can even do manual excel tracking if you have specific way you want to see your finances and don't mind manual entry. Edit: also a lot of apps have online introductions and just regular content which you can try to look for before paying for the app. It will show you what the app can do and best way to use it before you decide if it fits your budgeting style. I've been using it since 2015 (the premium version), and honestly it was a game changer for me. I think the premium version it's a no-brainer, totally worth it, specially the lifetime subscription option, which is relatively cheap. And on top of that, usually they offer good discounts on the lifetime subscription on holidays (Christmas, valentines, etc). It has all the features that I need, and a lot bunch more that I don't use. Personally, I don't use the bank sync, for 2 reasons. First is privacy concerns, and second, I prefer to input all my transactions manually, because it allows me to be more aware of my spendings, and there's less room for errors (between the app and the banks API's). It's not perfect though, so let me list its pros and cons (IMO). PROS: - The budgets feature is great, very powerful - The other features are also very good (Planned payments, Debts and Goals) - I really like the layout - You can have multiple accounts, and choose which to include or exclude from the stats - It has hole bunch of reports that are very handy CONS: - The web app is very limited, it lacks almost all the features that the Android version offers - The Android app has some bugs on some reports, and with notifications that have been there for months, if not years, and are yet to be fixed. For instance, if you archive a budget, you will keep getting notifications related to it, which makes no sense. Nothing too important though, none of those bugs "breaks" the app. EDIT: Just to clarify, this post was entirely based on my own personal experience.
