Accurate PSU calculator?
The www.pcpartpicker.com Wattage calculator is one of the best ones. I trust it more than 90% of the garbage that is out there. Just post us your config and we can take a look at it. I would recommend looking at the partpicker calculation of your system and divide it by the Wattage of your PSU. Everything below 0.7 is great, until 0.80 is fine and until .85 is borderline where I'd start to seriously consider a bigger power supply. Above .85 you're playing Russian Roulette. Is there a way to tell how much power pc uses/needs
Get one of those power meters , plug it into the wall and then connect your PC and monitor to it. Measure the consumption during a stresstest/benchmark, that's the most reliable way to figure out the max power draw. Working with theoretical numbers/specifications of your parts will always be less reliable, what counts is what is actually drawn from the wall - that is what you need to substitute. Then just do normal work for an hour and check the total consumption to know how much capacity you need. More on reddit.com

is there a way to check how much power consumption/wattage usage on PC without getting those power meter?
An issue with only doing internal readings is that the PSU is not and cannot be 100% efficient. So there's a good ~15%+ lost to efficiency that won't show up in software since it can't. More efficiency is lost on cheap PSUs, especially on lower power usages. More on reddit.com
