Then, if you can't find it for a better price, go back to wayfair and purchase it from them. I've bought a lot of rugs online and some major things to check for include: -pile height -is the pattern printed or woven? (If printed look at review photos of different sizes. Generally the really small rug patterns are too compressed and the larger rug patterns are too stretched out) -are the colors true to the ad photo? Look up “loloi rugs” on Amazon or wayfair. they have so many nice patterns and styles, I have 4 different ones in my house from runners to huge area rugs. You probably won’t find any 8x10 area rug under $150, but you get what you pay for and the Loloi rug prices aren’t too absurd More on reddit.com

RugsUSA has some very good deals but returning is very expensive. So, it's a bit of a gamble. And just FYI, if you find a rug you like on a site like Wayfair, Target, RugsUSA, Amazon, you can right-click a picture of it and search Google for the image and often find the rug for sale on other websites, sometimes at better prices. I was originally interested in a ruggable but I've seen a lot of reviews that they curl and the velcro pads can hold onto dirt/be hard to clean. I was looking into Tumble rugs until i realized they don't ship to Canada. Wayfair and Rugs USA are another option for machine washable rugs. Does anyone have a rug from either company and how does it hold up? Is curling an issue, and do you have any solutions if so? I don't want a tripping hazard. We're currently renting and the floors are so ugly they're driving me crazy lol. We also have pets and a baby so the idea of tossing it in a machine to wash when it really needs a good clean appeals to me.

I was looking to get one too at one point but every review I've read has been pretty dismal. Sorry, I don't have personal experience with one though. :)

I’ve gotten 2 rugs from Wayfair so far and the quality has been so horrible that I returned them even though shipping them back cost me 40% of what I paid (same for rug pads btw).
Pile height filter does not help - they are thin and material isn’t soft, feels like you run a chair on them a few times and they’ll start going bald.
Both had excellent reviews.
Now my local store has beautiful rugs in terms of quality (soft, thick, durable) but I don’t get to pick size or matching runner. Prices are about the same as Wayfair.
Did anyone have good luck with Wayfair rugs? I need them for soundproofing, and since I’m spending the money I want a luxurious cushioning as well, don’t mind spending extra.

Look at the package weight. Wayfair isn’t going to lie about something being heavy because it would cost more to ship. I found myself a stunning 8x10 hand knotted wool rug with 3/4” pile height and when I saw it weighed 67lbs, I felt it would be at least a substantial thickness. It was not soft for the first 2 months though and lost a lot of wool to the vacuum for weeks.
