Decent recliner set that doesn't cost a fortune
I need patio chairs that aren’t going to get destroyed and bake in the sun, solid wood preferred.
Has anyone purchased an outdoor recliner? Would like to know about experience and quality
Best Outdoor Glider Chairs?
Hi guys,
I'm currently furnishing my backyard-slash-garden, and I'd appreciate your advice on the furniture brands that offer outdoor recliner sets for two.
I've recently finished the deck overlooking our garden, and my wife's been pestering me about getting cozy recliner chairs to relax in the evening when the weather allows it.
I love the idea myself, and I even found a very cozy-looking set (pictured below) in a local garden furniture store when I googled recliners:
The problem is that it costs a fortune. I've built the deck myself with the help of my brother precisely because we don't have that kind of money, but she says that it's something she's willing to invest into.
So now I'm trying to find a set similar to the one pictured above but for less. I'm open to any suggestion as I don't have any brand preferences (to tell you the truth, I don't even know any outdoor furniture brands). The only condition is for it to be durable and not break after one season.
It doesn't have to have a table - I can build it myself, and I actually have an idea for it. The chairs themselves are the problem because I can't help but think that I'm not willing to splurge that much for a pair of woven recliners.
Maybe someone has a truly good BIFL set that's affordable and comfy at the same time - I'd love to know the brand or where you got it. Thanks in advance to anyone who's read this far and is willing to help.
I live in a high elevation Colorado mountain town. Our furniture gets bleached after a year or two, our woven deck chairs and cushions are bleached and cracked after just 18 months. Stuff just doesn’t last up here.
I would love some wood chairs that are not going to deteriorate so quickly. Maybe over the course of 10 years instead of just one. We do not want plastic.
And I am not looking for the Adirondack design, they take up too much room at our front porch is a little bit on the shallow side.
Less expensive is, of course, better.
Any recommendations? Thanks so much for your replies.
