I have to preface this by saying it was not me who put the wet filter in, I have a bit more common sense than that. But this happened. The filter was left less than twelve hours to dry before being plopped right in and started up. It worked fine for a few moments but then stop. By the time I got to it the thing wouldn't start vacuming.
When the trigger is pressed the battery Icons all light up blue for a split second and then go dark. Though it still charges when plugged in. I read online that a wet filter can cause a motor short circuit. If this is the case then what would my options realistically be, if any? Besides writing it off.

I was vacuuming for a bit (first time I had fun doing this) and a bit of water spilled from a neighboring steamer. The Dyson picked it up. This caused the head to be coated with dust + water, as well as the pipe and the dust bin thing. I cleaned out the pipe and the bin, as far as I know it didn’t make it into the motor, I’ll let it dry anyways. The biggest issue was the cleaning head, which mind you, there are no instructions on how to disassemble.
I sat there with all my tools for 2 hours trying to get it open and clean it, only thing I could do that could loosen the wet dust is a straw brush, which ended up scratching the clear interior of the cleaner head, but hey what else could I do. Literally nothing, it is impossible to take apart myself.
Has anyone else had to deal with opening this up, any help would be appreciated. Please this made me so disappointed and sad, I literally just bought this yesterday…
This vacuum was surrendered to me, customer didn't want repair. The complaint, the motor never stayed "solid". It was fluctuating power. The issue, completely filled canister and clogged exhaust filter.
For consumer use, I really cant justify the price of these, but I was pleasantly surprised. It did well with carpet and hard surface pickup. The 3 speed was nice for my small runners and area rugs, as well as running over cords. It was easy to maneuver under the couches, chairs, and tables. Id give it a 7/10. It's kind of loud. I hate that the exhaust is right at your face. There's no place to hang it and it doesn't stand upright. BUT, it's still got plenty of power for everyday use, and ease of maneuverability
Dyson just launched the new wet and dry vacuum in South Korea, and Canada. The Piston Animal DS60 Submarine equipped with a new Submarine wet cleaner head, and the new floor cones sense cleaner head. The accessories are dedicated to this model (Not backward compatible). The V15s Submarine already disappeared in Canada's website.

Hi, I accidentally placed a wet filter and pushed the button but immediately realized and took it off. Overnight I had placed machine on charge without filter and now in the morning it’s not working. There is no light no noise. What should I do? Any past experience anyone? Did I damage it?
Is the V12 really worth the extra $200? I have thick carpet, hard floors and a dog to take into consideration
