Intel or AMD for graphic design, photo+ video editing and gaming?
Best new CPU and MB for video editing? That is power eficient
Intel ya AMD photo/video editing AUR gaming ke liye?
Which CPU should I buy as a video editor?
What does the most work when editing video CPU or GPU?
Is Intel or Ryzen better for video editing?
This can vary based on the tools being used and the CPUs being compared. AMD's newer Zen 5 9000 series CPUs do have a small lead currently, backed by their higher IPC count, which makes it a superior option to most of their peers.
What CPU is needed for 4K video editing?
While all modern CPUs can edit 4K video in principle, it is recommended to go for at least a 6 or 8-core CPU for video editing endeavors. The team at Game Rant recommends the AMD Ryzen 7 7700X for most mid-range users.

I apologize if this is a basic question, I'm relatively new to building.
I am currently choosing parts for a PC I'm building for my sister. She plans to use it equally for photo editing, light video editing, and gaming. She also wants to be able to multitask well (such as gaming while having Spotify, Discord, and Chrome running.) My main concern is whether I should choose Intel or AMD for the CPU, and which generation.
From what I have seen, Intel CPUs tend to perform better in Adobe applications (which is what she uses for editing). Most of their CPUs also have Quicksync and integrated graphics, which helps with video editing. However, I have seen AMD CPUs at the same price point perform better for gaming and multitasking.
If anyone has advice or recommendations regarding this, I would really appreciate it. :)
EDIT: Thank you all for your advice! I might not reply to all of you, but I appreciate your messages nonetheless.
Im looking at building my own PC for personal and work. Gaming is honestly random and depends, sometimes Fornite and Val or sometimes story based games like RE.
I can get the 9060 xt 16gb brand new for way under msrp so thats the GPU im looking at getting. But what about the cpu?
I like the amd gpu because I've always used them, even in laptops + my monitors use amd free sync. I was thinking of the Ultra 7 265KF because it has 20 cores, but I've also heard that amd would work better as long as it's over 8 cores?
Budgets not really a problem right now, I'll change things based off the cpu I get because that and the mobo are left to decide on.
