I may end up just checking it out in store once I'm able but this question is for the men.

And I had purchased a pair months in black and had it altered. One of my favorite pants to date next to the wide pleated pants. I wanted to get an extra black as well as the other colors, but 2 colors are out of stock in my size. I bought the other 2 colors that were available and had them hemmed.

So now I'm hoping for a future restock. They do have these (id - 463957): https://www.uniqlo.com/us/en/products/E463957-000/00?colorDisplayCode=31&sizeDisplayCode=004

but these come with drawstrings at the bottom of the hems so there's no option for me to get these altered. They come with an inseam of 31, but I get the cargo pants hemmed to a 27. Any of the shorter folk purchase these new ones and want to give their thoughts? Is there a way for me to wear these similarly to my 27in inseam pants? Maybe by utilizing the drawstrings? I've never had pants with them before so I'm not entirely sure.

There are the women's cargos (id - 461643 ) without the drawstring and I'm able to get them altered, but will have to get them in a XXL to get them close to my fit. But unsure about them since the material and cut might differ.
