Wide leg trousers/pants that are slightly more fitted through the hip and upper thighs?
The Wide Leg Pant
Wide leg pants never went out of style for business attire. Even now, in all but the most fashion forward fields, any gathering of professional women will mostly be in "trouser cut" pants. Not bootcut, not super wide leg, definitely not skinny. I think that silhouette will continue to be very popular because it works. It never really looked dated or trendy.
How long will it take before skinny pants looks dated? Hmm. Kate Moss was wearing skinny jeans in 2000. How long did it take for bootcut jeans to start looking frumpy?
But skinny pants may never go completely out. Bootcut pants never went completely out, as hard as it may be for FFA to accept that. They continued to sell them and lots of people continued to wear them. (By contrast, it was impossible to get skinny leg jeans in the 90s. I remember my Spanish exchange student wanting them and she ended up getting straight leg and having her mom alter them.)

Wide Leg Pants Recommendations
I love the A&F Quinn pants for work but would like to add some wide leg pants that are more fitted though the hip/thigh without looking like bootcuts. I think this might be more flattering on me since I’m short! High-waisted preferred. And would love some options with less “formal” fabric as well as slack material. Anyone have a pair they love?
Thanks!
