I just built a new PC and want a Windows 11 key to remove the watermark and turn on features like dark mode. I am choosing between Windows 11 Pro and Windows 11 Home and I would like a safe, legitimate activation key at a reasonable price. Where can I buy a cheap Windows 11 product key that is still reliable?
Are OEM keys fine for a personal build, or should I look for a retail or ESD key so it can be transferred later? I almost bought from a marketplace like g2a but got cold feet. Also, can a product key itself carry malware, or is the real risk from shady installers and downloads?
Please share recent experiences with trusted sources, whether Microsoft deals, Amazon, verified resellers, student discounts, or other legitimate stores. Tips on how to check a seller’s company info, Invoice, or Microsoft Partner status would help a lot. Thanks.
Good morning! Can someone help me and tell me where to get a Windows 11 key from a reliable source? I've found several sources now, but I'd like to hear some real-life examples. The alternative would be a €120 key. Is the Pro version worth it, or is the Home version enough? Thanks!
EDIT: Since people are evidently not reading the whole post, the key has ALREADY BEEN GIVEN OUT to someone here. I wish you all the best in finding one.
I accidently bought two Microsoft Windows 11 Pro Product Key - Lifetime for 1 PC off Groupon, so if anyone needs a key for their build I'll dm it to someone here who comments asking for it. The key is best used within 30 days from today. And the key only works if used to activate windows from the settings menu after installing the trial/free version of windows during setup, not during the installation itself. So just setup windows as a trial/free user first then activate via settings once you're in. At least, that's how my key worked. Note this is an activation key, not an upgrade from Home to Pro key. Though they offered to provide me an upgrade key instead if that's what's needed. I also have no idea if the key is region locked, but it should work in the US at least as that's where it was purchased.
I get off work in 9-10 hours from this post, I'll pick a random comment or just roll a roulette wheel to see who gets it around then.
Edit: I did a roulette spin to see who gets the key, and the winner is RandomGeeko, congratulations
