Hello all.
I am building my first PC currently, but the heavy price of windows 11 home is KILLING me with my budget.
However, both of my parents are teachers, and I heard from one of my friends you can get a discount or even Windows 11 for free?
If so would this depend on the school district, and would it be a different version of Windows 11 with different features?
Thanks to anyone who could answer, I’m just really not trying to spend over $100 on windows but also not trying to get scammed with the $15 keys.

Yes, it is a different version called windows education. No way to know if you can get it without talking to your districts it department. I personally would just use windows unactivated and just deal with the watermark until you can afford a proper retail key.

In my opinion if you want you could go with pro version as it has most of windows features and you can get win10 key for cheap and not getting scammed (and yeah win10 keys activate 11 and vice versa)
