Should I study at U of Windsor?
This University is pretty much a standard University in Canada and Ontario. I wouldn't say it's any academically better than any other school school, but it is much smaller and more collegial then the large public schools we find in Toronto. it's a great place to get your education focus on studies without distractions and being a number .but it's nothing extra or special That being said, comma cdn universities are very very good by global standards. In other words this University is par for the course with a more friendly environment than larger schools. More on reddit.com

November 13, 2021How is living in Windsor as a university student ?
Unfortunately its not nearly as cheap as it used to be, but should still be quite a bit cheaper than Ottawa. Huge asian population in and around the university, as well as west Windsor in general. Plenty of good Thai, Chinese and Vietnamese options. I hate to say it but theres not a ton to do around the city. Nothing that Ottawa doesn’t have anyway. At least its way warmer? Depends on program. I did CS and 95% of the profs were absolute garbage. Only two in four years were worth learning under and could speak English properly. Your mileage may vary though. I've heard good things about nursing etc. More on reddit.com

several: -cheap if local -low staff/student ratio, so you dont have a billion keeners gunning for a single prof -on that note it’s easier to get published -new buildings/growing funding and interest (so new opportunities) -campus is okay -… uhg -the food is… food. nutrients are nutrients. vitamins are vitamins. -there is a massive fountain of vodka in the middle campus -made the last one up, but one can dream More on reddit.com
