Do you use it for VERY competitive gaming or you’re just a casual user ? If yes then it is worth it but if not then your’re better off with a custom keyboard instead.

If you care about the best of the best then yea it definitely worth it if you want a competitive board your cheapest option is drunkdeer I would say or maybe steelseries Apex pro mini on discount if you want just a good sounding board you can have a lot of prebuilt boards for 90$ that sound amazing

The Wooting 60HE from the reviews is the best Rapid trigger Keyboard money has to offer right now. I'd pay the price, even the 74 dollars shipping. It's just that the wait is worrying me.
I am totally willing to wait 1 months for the 60HE+, I totally understand that Wooting is a very small company and it's trying its best to keep up with the demand. However, I've seen people saying that the wait could be up to 4 months.
I know it's kind of pointless asking on the Wooting subreddit but I wanted to ask the opinions of those who have tried and waited to see if both the wait and the price is worth it.

the difference is the stabiliser. honestly if u can wait, wait. if not 60HE is fine imho. screw in or clip in, both feels fine.

The shipping indication you see is pretty accurate, it won’t be 4 months. If you get it now it will ship end of this month. Those waiting times were last year when we were really far behind. Also where do you see 74 dollars shipping? Fedex is 48 aud for me on the store

So after 3 years my K60 FINALLY gave in, specifically the shift and W keys. So, I did research on the best keyboards, and I found that Wooting seems to be easily number 1 (atleast for FPS). Plus, I really like the customizable options so i thought I’d give it a try. After doing more research into them, I found the 60HE would probably suit me the best, But I found it’s just not that worth it compared to the V2 coming out or the 80HE, and I wouldn’t mind waiting for it except I kinda, REALLY need a keyboard right now… I was thinking I could go with the 80HE but personally I’ve done research and it seems like people arnt very happy the keyboards build, plus the zinc case puts me off a bit kinda wishing aluminum was an option. Like I said I like the 60HE options, as I could pick aluminum with the same caps as the 80HE but then I might as well wait for the V2… so, what’s the best plan of action? Cheap keyboard off of amazon while I wait or is the 60HE worth $300 even with the V2 right around the corner? Please lmk, thanks!

Honestly if you are fine with modding it yourself get the v1 and if you dont care about 8khz polling, but if you want it stock wait cuz lekkers v2 are bad imo especially with no mods on wooting 60 and the v2 solves most problems with the v1. As for 80HE i have it and its great zinc is really good but i am not a big fan of the design and choices are very limited so yea if you care about looks go for the 60 if u care about function get the 80. Also if you are going to mod it akko astrolabs are probably the best sounding HE switch rn.

There's really no way I could afford or even justify $175 USD for the 60HE.
But I love the idea of analog keyboard switches and think I would get a lot of use out of them.
Are any companies making worthy competitors to the 60HE but at a much lower price?

The huntsman mini analog comes to mind, 105€ in Germany. I think it was also the first one to "copy" the rapid trigger function of the 60he, however not as qualitative. Still much better than regular mechanical switches.
