Do you guys recommend the Yamaha P45?
It’s a good entry level piano. I’d say it’s the cheapest of the “real” electronic pianos i.e., has 88 fully weighted keys, reasonable polyphony and sound sampling (and it’s from a highly respected brand). P125 is a also a good option, for a little bit more money. More on reddit.com

Sustain Pedal Yamaha P45
I can't really point you in the right direction as far as alternatives, but I will say that Yamaha is, IMHO, particularly bad about compatibility with accessories from other brands. Be careful about wasting money on a different pedal that won't work! I can also tell you that the FC3A does not work with other brands of keyboard. Sorry I can't be of more help! More on reddit.com

Hey guys!

I‘ve just started my journey with a Yamaha YPT-255 to see if I enjoy playing the piano.

I do, but not with this keyboard anymore. I‘ve now stumbled across a Yamaha P-45 with sustain pedal, stool and stand for 350€ on eBay. Of course its a few years old, but seems to be in a good condition.

What are your opinions on the E-Piano itself and the price?

I‘m just not sure if I have time to play a lot in the near future, but if its a good deal I might still take it before somebody else does.

I use it, it's fine but it's a bit of a stretch for my fingers compared to other digital pianos (or any other keyboard)

I plan to get this piano as I’ve heard it’s great for beginners and won an eBay bid for it, just wanted to ask if this is good value for money.

It’s basically brand new, has the piano, a stool, two books for learning chords etc and a dust cover (might be one other thing but I can’t reopen the listing to check). I won the bid at £256, extra £30 on top for shipping.

Would you say this is a good price for it before I commit to paying?
