Hey!
I was hoping for some much needed help. I've been looking around for a affordable knife sets and am trying to decide between a set of Zwilling Gourmet which are stamped and a set of Henckels forged Compass which are obviously forged, found in the links below.

I wanted to initially get a three piece Wusthof Classic Ikon but it's not realistic because a lot if people work in my kitchen at the same time and so we would need and use all the knives in a set.

avoid sets. how frequently do multiple people work in your kitchen? forged vs stamped has no meaningful performance difference in kitchen knives

victorinox rosewood is about the same price for better quality. tho if you are choosing only between those two sets there is no reason to spend more on the more expensive set, it is no better quality.

Not discouraging you from Henckel. I would however focus on individual knives YOU need for your kitchen. Don't overpay for box sets. Start with a quality 5-7" Chef's knife and work your way from there. You'll save $$ and you end up buying a much more quality knife that way. More on reddit.com
